aaa-reports! support for fault finding & diagnosis

Advanced Query Builder
Point 'n' Click
The query builder built into aaa-reports! gives you instant access to the power of a relational database in a convenient windowing environment. Forget learning complex SQL syntax - just select the data source (AAA server logs, imported ACS database or even the datasets that drive our canned reports) select which fields you want to see and hit Run. The data is then displayed for you ready to export as csv, excel, html or text.

If you need to go further you can choose to display only certain columns, sort/filter/group on others, and even calculate totals and counters. If you want to create a custom report just click Save and give it a name - you'll then be able to include it in any report batches you have configured.

With the query builder you can do things like

Find the number of times a given user logged in between certain dates
Total up the number of failed login attempts against devices in a specific Network Device Group
Create session counts and session duration totals for each AAA server Group sorted by group name
Group unauthorised command attempts by user
etc..

Of course if you need to perform complex searches the query builder supports common SQL operators such as equal, not equal, null and like plus combinational logic (or, and) etc.

With all this functionality and your imported AAA server logs you have all the tools you need to deep dive into the data and find what you're looking for.

don't forget our canned reports

When trying to isolate faults on the network it often comes turns out to be mis-configuration issues or perhaps some patch hasn't been applied. the TACACS+ Device Admin (TDA) reports built into aaa-reports! are an invaluable aid to finding out what has happened on your network.

Using imported TACACS+ command accounting, TACACS+ session accounting and ACS Failed Attempts logs aaa-reports! can report:

Summaries of devices managed, commands issued, group/users performing tasks, authentication & authorisation failures

All commands issued by a specific user
All commands executed on a specific device
All users who issued a specific command
More...

aaa-reports! gives you the power to find, fix and eliminate your network problems..
